I love being in the far country

           alone, I capture the mountains, the sea,

                                               the sun through the trees

Yet my rest is in a place

           that I can call ‘home’

I am living in a far country

           catching small glimpses of a better land

Sojourner traveling by faith

           longing a heavenly home restored by my God
